This is a beautiful and bright solar powered Pillar Light in the style of the old gas street lights. It has 5 x 18v solar panels in the top cover totaling 28.4 watts. The bulb is a 12vDC clear bulb. The system itself has over charge/discharge protection and gives out a warm 600 lumens. The battery is 12v SLA 5Ah. The lamp body is made from galvanised steel painted in satin black. The glass is tempered for extra durability.
It is made to sit on a 70mm pole (recommended 2 to 3 metres high. The pole is not included with the light but a 2.6m antique style black painted steel pole is available from our Kerikeri warehouse if required. The poleis as seen in the pictures. They are supplied complete with a reinforcing cage to set into concrete. The base of our pole then bolts onto this cage which has exposed threads above the concrete foundation. Alternatively you can use dynabolts to bolt down onto an existing concrete pad or path.
The light comes on at dusk and turns and off automatically at dawn. It is made to run 8 to 10 hours per night but we can set it, whilst constructing it for you, to come on for any number of hours you may prefer. Say 5 hours or 8 hours etc. The lamp part measures 44.5cm x 44.5cm x 50cm
